Allowance, Shed Park and Leaves
Now that the kids are each getting an allowance, we all went to Lowell Five and opened a bank account for each of them.
They have been saving there allowance the past three weeks, hoping to buy some Bakugans. This morning we packed in the car and headed to Walmart.
When the kids could not find any Bakugans, they decided the Power Rangers were the way to go. Robby got this shark one.
Ben went for the purple wolf Power Ranger.
At breakfast we called Bob to see if he wanted to meet us over at Shed Park. Ben had fun climbing this wall.
Bob brought Lily so the kids could hang out.
I think my favorite part of going to Shed Park is just walking around the track. The kids had fun doing that too.
When we left, we brought Lily with us so the kids could play some more.
When we got home, I got inspired to do some raking. I think it was our wonderful neighbor that inspired me. This guy across the street rakes all his leaves out of his yard and into the street right next to our side yard - and leaves them there. Along comes the wind and our whole sidfe yard is covered in leaves. It took me almost two hours just to clear out this tiny postage stamp section. Egads!
Meanwhile the kids were having fun inside playing...
