Triceratops Cliff
The Museum of Science unveiled one of only four nearly complete Triceratops fossils this weekend. Since Mary worked last night, I thought I would take the kids into Boston to check it out and let Mommy get some rest.
We parked at the Cambridge Side Galleria and walked over. On the way we ran into this cool spider web like structure.
After watching Dinosaurs Alive in iMax, we stopped at the kids area so the kids could play.
So many cool things to play with at the museum of science.
I thought the kids were going to be excited to see a real Trceratops fossil. But I could hardly get them to stand there long enough to take a picture with them in front of the exhibit. I thought it was cool.
Robby likes the small dinosaurs like coelophysus, dynonychous and the raptors much more. He asked me to take some pictures so he could draw them later.
We stayed at the museum much later that I thought we were going to. We went back to the mall for dinner and dessert afterwards. I actually got food from Cheesecake Factory take-out for Mary and I.
I think the kids had a fun day.
When we got back to our car in the parking lot, we found a pile of broken glass right next to our car. I looked up and Robby was touching the broken window of a car parked next to mine. Apparantly, the Lexus left a GPS unit on its dashboard, so the person smashed the window to get it. After I told Robby not to touch it, I looked at my car and noticed I had left my doors unlocked with my mp3 player right there for a thief to take. I guess I was pretty lucky.
