I will start off this blog entry with a cute picture of Anna just after she took her night time bath.
Before, I tell the sadly true story of my addiction to electronic gadgets. I love all the new latest electronics. Wii, PS3, iPods, netbooks, you name it. I spend far too much time each day surfing and reading reviews and dreaming about each and every new gadget.
Pathetically, on Mary's last birthday I got her a Wii. I got her a Wii? That is pathetic right? I mean I think the latest gadgets are so cool, that I sort of try to reason to myself, that it is so cool that Mary would HAVE to want one. I remember when I got her the Wii she told me to just return it. I mean she had zero interest. She eventually tried it, and I think she liked it some. But, was that really what she would have wanted? I mean I know not to buy her clothes anymore. The majority of past clothes I have bought her she has just exchanged for what she really wanted. So, I guess I justify in my head, that electronic gadgets are what I know. I mean I know what are the hottest five gadgets at any moment in time. And so, I get her the best/hottest one.
Enter Christmas. This past Christmas, i got her an iPod Touch. For months she did not touch it (no pun intended.) Eventually when she was getting ready to go back to work, I opened it for her and loaded it up with some pictures. After a couple weeks, I am so hooked. It is the coolest thing ever. I mean I would totally love an iPhone, but can't deal with the monthly data plans, so this is totally the next best thing.
The other night Mary finally really tried it out. She played stick wars for about an hour and messed around with some of the other apps too. Today Ben and Robby even got into the act and played bowling on it. Definitely ultra cool.iPod iHooked
