Museum of Science

Grandma and Grandpa Bob arrived a couple days ago for a two week long visit. Woohooo! I only wish I could take some time off from work for their visit. Thank goodness for weekends! We reserved tickets to take them to see The Museum of Science in Boston. Robby was excited to find out they were having a Star Wars exhibit. Cool Storm Troopers! Then Ben and Robby stared in awe at one of my favorite exhibits, the big mechanical contraption that flings, rolls and tosses dozens of balls into a perpetual loop. Ben approved. After I tried to show Robby how a microscope works. A very difficult concept for a 4 year old. Of course, Robby's favorite exhibit was the dinosaur exhibit. And a particular favorite was this ferocious (life size) little Compsognathus. Robby impersonating a Compsognathus. After lunch we took a stroll along the Charles hoping the kids would nap. We finished the day with a trip North to Brown's for some fresh New England Lobster. Oh Baby!
