We were planning to head to the zoo first thing this morning. But, since the hotel had three pools, the kids had to try them out. Ben and I went to the indoor pool, while Mary and Robby went to one of the two outdoor pools. After a quick pool fix, we headed to
The York Zoo.

Hey quick, what's the difference between a reindeer and a deer?

Robby had a fun time feeding the deers, although they can be a bit intimidating. They are pretty big, and can get pretty agressive grabbing food from your hand. I encouraged Robby to feed this one that was a little more tame.

Hello deer.

After a couple hours at the zoo, we headed over to
Wild Willy's for lunch. Mmmm yummy.

After lunch, we drove back to the zoo to go on the rides. But first, Mary and I pushed the kids in the strollers for awhile so they could nap. It was a nice stroll. Then we were back, and the kids were on the rides. First the boats.

Then some swings.

Of course we had to do the bumper cars and bumper boats.

Robby and my favorite was the ferris wheel. I think Mary and Ben liked the bumper cars the most. The house of glass gets an honorable mention too since we went through it three times in a row. It was a really fun day for sure.
On our way back to the hotel from dinner, Robby saw the hotel and said "Daddy.. turn left.. then turn right into our hotel." That one took me by surprise. Huh? He knows our hotel? He knows left and right?
