Steam Dream

Trick Question: What is even better than going on a steam engine? How about going on a steam engine AND a steam boat? Lucky for us Essex Steam Train & Riverboat was a short 30 minute drive from Eva's parents house. I think Robby approves. We all made it aboard the 11am round trip with combination steam engine/riverboat tickets. The train took a relaxing slow course along the Connecticut River. It was nice sitting and relaxing, enjoying the breeze and just looking out the window. I wonder what he is thinking? Okay, now SMILE! Two pretty handsome guys, huh? And the train came to a stop! Robby took this action pose with the conductor. Then we were ready for our river boat ride. Uh, what do you think? Does Avi like boats? Ben kept playing peekabo with me as I tried to get him to eat a little lunch. Robby was more interested in a couple toy cars & trucks a kid was playing with in the seat behind us. What hot dog? Who needs lunch when we've got trains, boats, trucks and race cars? Eva, Andre and Avi posed with the conductor just before our return train trip. All Aboard! Mary snapped this one as we got on. On our way back it was pretty warm. I thought the deadly combination of the breeze and Mommy's should was going to put Ben to sleep. But he was just pretending. I think Robby was trying to hold on to the memories.
