Mary worked last night, so I took the kids out, so she could get some sleep. Lucky for us it was the 4th of July. You know what that means?

Parades! Robby's favorite part of course was waiting for them to throw candy, so he could scamper out into the road and grab as much as he could hold. I don't remember him doing that last year. Getting smarter. Free candy = GOOD.

Ben was happy just sitting in his stroller with his blue balloon, watching the firetrucks go by.

After nap time, we invited everyone over for a 4th of July cookout. Our first big cookout at our new house. Uncle Bob decided he would teach Ben how to hit a whiffle ball.

When I went to snap this picture she was smiling.

Ah, that's better.

Glad Mikey could make it. Goooooo Germany! We were watching the World Cup when the party started.
Germany vs. Italy.

Okay, now let's see a big swing Ben!

Woohoo! Time for hugs!

Double time.

My pretty little Benjalina.

Sorry Bob, couldn't resist. Having a moment?

Then Chris and Annie arrived with Kathryn and Vivian. They hadn't been to our new house, so we took a walk down to the lake to show them the neighborhood. They had some big news - Number Three is on the way. Congratulations!
