Carolyns Red Egg

What is Christmas without Christmas TV? Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Frosty and Rudolph. I remember my friend Scott always used to sing the HeatMiser song from The Year There Was No Santa. I don't really remember that one, but was thinking of buying it or renting it to watch it. Anyway, before naptime we turned on the TV and let the kids enjoy an hour of Rudolph. The only thing that is missing is the snow. It has been so warm this year. The ten day forecast shows no snow anywhere in site. After nap we headed into Saugus for Carolyn's Red Egg & Ginger party. We were all excited to see Kathryn, Vivian and meet Carolyn for the first time. Ben was his usual happy self. The kids love walking around the Grand Manor. There is so much to see inside, from the big bridge going over the babbling brook to the golden dragons and Christmas decorations. I couldn't believe it. After dinner, Robby got up and dragged me over to Sam's daughter's table. He walked right up to her, held up his pad of paper and markers and said, "Do you want to draw with me?" Wow, nice move son! Next thing I knew they were over on the floor drawing. It was like his first date or something. Haha He and Ben are so cute. I can't imagine either of them having much trouble finding girls when the are older. Of course, we've got several years of cooties ahead of us before that happens. While Robby drew his rocket ship, he kept peeking over to see what she was drawing.
