Originally we were planning on returning home today. Then, at breakfast we changed our mind and decided to stay one more day so we could visit
Santas Vilage.
During our whole ride there, it snowed and rained. So, we were pretty worried that things might not turn out too well. But just as we arrived, things started to clear up some.
At the entrance, they gave out these tickets. Santas Village had this ingenious idea of placing elves all over the park each holding a different letter. If you get your ticket punched by all 26 elves, then you can turn in your ticket for a special prize on the way out. Cool!
Our first stop when we arrived was at Santa's train of course. We took it all around the park, so we could stake out our plan of attack.
Choochooo! Wheeeee!
There were tons of rides. It is Daddy's job to go on all the scary ones and spinny ones.
Mary went with Ben on the old antique cars.
I went with Robby.
It is always nice when there are rides that the kids can go on by themselves.
It was pretty cold out. Robby was excited to find enough snow to scrape together a snowball.
Look Daddy! A huge candy cane!
And of course there was a carousel.
But no ordinary carousel. This one had reindeer.
I am not sure what this whale was all about. But Robby was liking it.
And wouldn't you know it. Santa's real reindeer were there. The kids could even feed them.
