Golden Gate Boat Ride

Sunday afternoon just around the time the Patriots vs. San Diego game started, we were boarding Grandpa's boat to go for a cruise around the bay. This was the view out of the window of his boat, as we were boarding at the docks. Robby and Ben were bundled up in sweatshirts and life jackets. Skipper Grandpa was at the helm. Ben and Robby fell asleep by my side as we sailed into the bay. It was a really beautiful day. As I saw this view, I listened to the 1st quarter of the Patriots game on my headphones. Mary and her dad. As we approached the Golden Gate bridge a big freight ship pulled into the bay. I wish the kids were awake to see it. But it was nice just holding them as they slept in my arms. I am so going to make this picture my wallpaper. The Golden Gate Bridge. After our trip around the bay, we headed back to Lake Street for one last visit before heading home. When we got there, I got to watch the amazing Patriots come from behind win over San Diego. Robby was more interested in playing Connect Four with Miki. Miki and Charlie gave us a big send off. Then Mats and Juyen joined them. Bye everyone! We'll miss you... When we got back to Grandma's house, the kids wanted to do a little more coloring before we got ready for bed. Grandma finished off our last night in San Francisco with some bedtime stories for the kids. We'll miss you Grandma and Grampa Bob.
