Touristas
For the past few weeks I have been working with two guys from China, Sam and Lebron, at HP. I am actually training them to replace me. This is their first time in America, so today we are taking them to Boston to see the sites.
Before we left, Ben decided he wanted to play the goofy face game.
Hmmm, this is going to be a tough call.
We dropped the kids at Nana's house for the day so we could trek around the city like real tourists.
Our first stop was Harvard. It is funny that I grew up in this area and have never actually walked around the Harvard campus, until today. Would you believe this majestic looking building is just where the people from Harvard eat dinner?
Here is the famous Harvard School of Management with Lebron standing in front.
Lebron and Sam in front of MIT.
The Boston skyline mid winter.
Mem Drive looking towards the Mass Ave bridge.
We ate lunch at China Pearl in Chinatown.
It was quite good.
After lunch we walked a portion of the Freedom Trail. At one point we passed by this old building that I thought looked like one of those old buildings from Nazi Germany. I mean can't you just picture a swasstika hanging out front and some Nazi generals walking out in fatigues? Maybe an old black car driving up to the front.
Turns out the building was the old city hall, now converted into a Ruth's Steak House. I want to take Mary here some day for a romantic dinner.
