The kids have made friends with some other kids in the cabin next to us. So, this morning all the kids did some hardcore playing in our cabin.
A picture does not do justice to the
massive amounts of energy involved in a gang of six kids all seven years or younger.
It was a miracle that I got all six of them to actually sit on the couch for a group picture.
Just seconds later, the natives got restless.
After lunch, we headed to Mackinaw City to see Ratatoille. While we were there we went into this cool hiking store, and I tried to rock climb a 35 foot wall. It was pretty cool. I almost made it all the way up. On our way back to the cabin, the kids fell asleep, so we went for a ride up to the border of Canada. Then we came back and met everyone for dinner at one of the two local restaurants.
Everyone came over to our cabin for birthday cake and ice cream to celebrate Grampa's Birthday.
A lot of candles.. but
that didn't stop Grampa from blowing them all out in just one try. Hope he made a good wish.
