Chef Mickey & The Boardwalk

This morning we woke up and headed over to the Contemporary Resort for breakfast with Chef Mickey. Another all you can eat buffet. :o Robby and Ben are really starting to get into this. Hi Minnie! As we munched down the different characters stopped by our table. M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E! Hey, it's Goofy! He sure is tall. And Pluto! Donald Duck was funny. When he came to out table, he saw the kids swords (from Pirates of the Carribean) and he picked one up and challenged the kids to a duel. haha We ended up just relaxing today. We decided we would go pool hopping at the different resorts. Mary heard the Beach Club at the Boardwalk had the best pool and slide. So, we headed over there only to find out it was the only resort where guests from other resorts were not allowed. The lifeguard was extra cool though and made an exception for us. Thanks Dude! The Beach Club pool was awesome! It has a spinning cyclone, a lazy river and the floor of the pool was covered in sand which made it feel more like a beach. Also, there was this crazy slide. It was on what looked like a sunkend pirate ship. You climbed up this long set of stairs and slid down a tunnel (really, really fast) then before you got shot out at the end were hit with two big waterfalls that dumped on your head. I went down first. Before I could tell Mary not to let the kids down, they were on there way. I think that slide scared Robby and Ben half to death. Not sure why they should ever trus me or Mary evera again. hehe Anyway, the pool was so much fun. We even got to play (and win) poolside bingo. When we got back, Nana and Grandpa took the kids while Mary and I ate dinner at the Flying Fish. It was really nice to enjoy such a nice dinner with my sweetie. My favorite, was walking on the boardwalk after, when she grabbed my arm and pulled me close around her so I could keep her warm. It actually got a little chilly there walking along the boardwalk. It was real nice though.
