Ecotarium and Honest People
I took Ben and Robby to Worcester today to visit the Ecotarium. I wasn't expecting that the planetarium at this small place would be better than the one at Boston's Museum of Science, but it was. We saw a great movie about the planets, that was just at their level.
We also saw snakes, turtles, a porcupine, an eagle, a polar bear, dinosaur bones and a cool blue crayfish which you can barely see on the left in this picture.
I was having a fun time with the kids until shortly after this picture was taken. As we were leaving I was going to take one last picture of the kids playing outside (the ecotarium has a cool outdoor area) when I realized I did not have my camera. We spent the next 30-40 minutes backtracking our steps. I visited the main desk two times to ask them if anyone turned in a camera. I even went to our car once, started to leave, then turned around to come back and search for it again. I am glad I did. We went and traced our steps outside, and I was still unable to find it. When we headed back to the car, I was just about to get in, when a guy approached me. He said, "I have to confess something.. I needed to look at your pictures to figure out whose camera it was..." then he handed it back to me. Thank God for honest people.
