The Long Ride Home

After a bit of a delay helping Grandpa put his boat in storage, we started the long journey home. Bye Macinaw Bridge. Mary was pretty chipper for the first leg. I think Robby and Ben were a little bummed that vacation was coming to an end. Robby is concentrating on the Junie B. Jones story. We stopped at Ann, Judy and Denny's place to pick up some Rhubarb to take home with us and to say good bye. Judy was sick so she wasn't able to come down and say goodbye. It is a little sad saying bye to people, not knowing if you will ever see them again. We pulled into Niagra around 7pm, settled in our room and headed out to find some Chinese food for dinner. After dinner we walked by this pub that was playing Nascar racing on TVs outside. Robby thought the Nascars were real cool and wanted me to take his picture with them (and Speed Racer.) We waited in line to go on this big ferris wheel to look out and see Niagara Falls at night. But just before we got on, it started to pour. Our cabin fogged up and we basically couldn't see anything for our whole ride. Hahaha It was really pretty pathetic. But I don't think the kids even noticed.
