Two brothers, one a hardware store manager named Hank, the other an unemployed slob named Jacob and Jacob's friend Lou stumble across a plane wreck while out hunting for a fox. A closer look at the plane reveals a payload of 4.4 million dollars in cash. Hank uses his wits to immediately take control of the situation and the money. The three men agree to wait until spring, split the money, and leave town. As time passes things become complicated by greed and distrust. Eventually the three men will wish they never found the plane to begin with.
