Loly wanted to visit New York City during her stay with us. So, we drove to Connecticut last night to visti Mohegan Sun. And today we arrived in New York City. After checking into our hotel right in the heart of Times Square, we headed out for a double decker bus tour. I got to sit next to my buddy Ben.
Mary sat across from me with Anna. It was a beautiful day for a tour of the city.
The tour started a couple blocks West of Times Square, headed up the West Side, then continued through the Bronx.
Anna enjoyed the fresh air as we headed along the East Side of Central Park. We got off at Central Park so we could hit FAO Schwartz and the Apple Store.
As we were crossing the street to FAO Schwartz, Mary spotted the fountain from Friends, so we struck a pose.
At FAO Schwartz, we ran into Batman. How cool is that? He was hanging out with Darth Vader and Chewbacka (sp?)
After dinner at Jeckyl and Hyde which was kind of a nightmare (link here to Mary's scathing Yelp review) we walked back to our hotel.
By the time we got back, all the lights lit up Times Square. So, we went to the island in the middle of it all and just took it all in.
Robby was in good spirits after his ice cream.
