Trolley Time
Yesterday we drove up to San Marin to stay with Grandma and Grandpa Bob for the rest of our trip. We decided to take the ferry from Larkspur into San Francisco to see the sites.
Captain Robby and First Gunner Grandma kept watch for icebergs as we pulled out of port.
First mate Ben and I sat and enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful view.
I remember when the stranger handed me my camera back and asked if the picture was okay, I just said, "Yeah it is great, thanks!" I mean really, he could have taken 20 pictures and they wouldn't have gotten any better. Haha
When we got to San Francisco we found a farmer's market going on at the pier. We bought some yummy apricot butter and chocolate toffee. It was sort of an upscale farmer's market.
The kids were excited to go on the street cars of San Francisco for their first time.
Mary held on as we headed up the hill towards Lombard.
I stood next to her, while Grandma and Grandpa Bob sat by our side.
Robby and Ben thought is was cool. I think they were surprised how big the hills were.
Mary's Mom used to work in the building on the right I think. This picture sort of looks like it could be a postcard, huh?
I snapped this picture as the trolley past Lombard Street (the crookedest street in the world.) Memories.
We all had a really fun time in the city. Robby gave Mary a big smile on our ferry ride back to Grandma's.
