Grandpa's House

We finally made it to Lake Street today. We were invited over for dinner. I was really happy to make it over so Robby and Ben could spend some time with Mats and Charlie. Something about Lake Street just makes me feel warm inside. I am not sure if it is the memories from when Mary and I were first seeing each other. The memories of Puck. San Francisco. Mats and Charlie. I don't know. But it was good to see Lake Street again. Mats and Junya were happy to give me some silly poses. Then Charlie joined the party. Followed by Robby and Ben. The whole gang. Throughout the evening Junya could often be found clinging to my leg, or hanging from my neck. She is very cute. It made me really think about having a girl of our own. Ben has always had a thing for Mary's Dad. I swear they even look alike. It always makes me feel really good to see the two of them together. It was my favorite moment of the day. Mary and Miki performed a song on the piano for everyone. I can't believe how two people that have never played together could just sit in front of a piano and play such beautiful music. My wife is amazing. Okay, it is time to play goofy face. And with a strong performance out of the gate, Charlie starts off in first place. Ooooh, the new comer Ben comes out with some fierce competition, with his full tongue skowl. Then Robby splashes onto the scene with his classic "serious" pose. Brutal.
