Back to Magic Kingdom

For our last day at Disney we returned to Magic Kingdom. We took the train to our first stop: Mickey's House. Lucky for us, Mickey was home. Shortly after I took this picture, I remembered Guy and I have yet to make our football picks. So, we called Bob and asked him if he could enter our picks tonight. Hmmm Dallas vs. Chicago? There was a little playground next to Mickey's House. So, we let the kids play for awhile. It had been awhile since they had been at a playground, so they had lots of fun. On our way over to Space Mountain, we stopped at the race car track for a quick lap. I think Space Mountain nearly caused Robby irreversible rollercoasterphobia. Somehow though he survived and still wanted to go on Thunder Mountain. Unfortuntatly, Thunder Mountain was closed, so we went on Splash Mountain instead. I sat with my buddy Ben. Mary sat with Robby. I think Splash Mountain was much more our speed. This picture was snapped shortly after plummetting down the big drop on Splash Mountain. When we got off the ride, we were lucky to find out Thunder Mountain had reopened, and because we were one of the first groups of people there, we got right on. For dinner we had reservations for Hoop-De-Doo the musical at The Wilderness Lodge. We all had a great time watching the show while we chowed down on fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, baked beans, corn bread and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Yummy! It is so funny, how after a good meal, the kids are in their best spirits. Here is Ben pretending his straw is a laser. Watchout! Robby with his mischiefous smile as we waited for the boat to pick us up to bring us to the parade of lights back at the Magic Kingdom. We got back to Magic Kingdom just in time for the big parade. Robby sat on my shoulders so he could see everything, while Ben stood back a little bit with Mary. After an encore visit to the Haunted House (Robby's favorite) we headed out. As we left the park we looked back and could see Cinderella's Castle all lit up. Just as the last firework went off, we walked out the gate and were headed back to our hotel. Bye Disney!
