We Made It To Florida

Today's mission: Get to Florida After a good nights rest at Holiday Inn, Atlanta, we started leg two of our journey. Ready for another airplane ride? Oooh... if only we took Northwest. Luckily our hotel was right acorss the street from a Waffle House. So, we grabbed a good hearty southern breakfast before we left for the airport. Robby and Ben were excited to see this dinosaur skeleton in the middle of the airport food court. Robby asked me to take a big picture of it. A little over 24 short hours after we left Westford, we arrived at Seaworld in Orlando. Our pass entittled us to two days for the price of one, so we got in a few hours today before our full day tomorrow. We headed straight over to the kids rides when we got there. I think Mary was happy I went on this one with the kids. She doesn't like the spinning ones. It started raining lightly shortly after we got there. Thankfully they kept most of the rides going anyway. Woohoo, the hopping crab! We got to see the night time Shamu show before we left for dinner. Ben really loved to see the big killer whales and all the lights and music. We sat up pretty close, pretty much in the middle of the splash zone. The kids were so engrossed in the whole show, that they hardly minded when we got splashed. Of course, I am sure it helped that Mary and I shielded them with our jackets. The water was cooooold! It was good to see Shamu again...
