I figured it out. It costs me $2.47 a day to keep this site up and running. That is $975 for my Dell Optiplex SX270, 19" Dell CRT monitor and Linksys cable modem (hardware depreciated over a three year period), plus my monthly $42.95 to Comcast for my broadband connection and approximately $5 a month for the portion of the electric bill I would attribute to the computer all divided over 365 days.
