I wonder what it would be like if there was a whole state that did not allow cars. I love visiting Mackinaw Island. I want to send my Mom there someday for a vacation. Everytime we go there I feel so much like we actually travelled back to Somewhere In Time.


We rented bikes and started our ride around the island when we decided to stop for a break and let the kids explore some.


It is like there is nothing but Mackinaw Island.


Charlie and I rode tandem.


Mary had Anna riding in tow although you can't see her in this pic. I think Mary is holding her head up, because she was nappy.

It was a beautiful day for a bike ride.


We stopped again for another break to let Anna have a bottle.

Every time we make it to the school playground I try to imagine how it would be to be a child that goes to this school. It must really be something special.


I had a fun time playing with Anna while the boys chased each other.


On the sleepy boat ride back Anna was not so sleepy.
