Westford
6 June 2004

This afternoon Mary and I went to an open house in Westford. It is so hard being a parent and knowing what is the right thing to do for your kids. Shortly after Robby was born I started to think about his education. It is instinctual to want to watch out for your children's well-being and one of the things that I feel very strongly about is education. Our educations have opened a number of doors for both Mary and I and we just want Robby and Ben to see their opportunities in life as limitless.

So, this bring us to Westford. In Lowell, the public school system is just not good. While Westford just two towns over, consistently rates very high. So, in pursuit of what we feel is in our children's best interest, we have been searching for a house in Westford. Westford is just so expensive. I am hoping within three years we will be able to save up some money and we will find something near (hopefully on) Nabnasset Lake.

While Mary was making dinner, I got to hold Ben for awhile. He was almost exactly 4 weeks old when I snapped this picture.

While I held Ben on the couch, Robby was playing with this balloon. It is funny how the most simple things in life usually make us most happy.
