At 4:18pm Benjamin Watts Philpot was born. Mary started regular contractions around 1am. After some 15 hours of grueling labor with no epidural, my brave wife gave birth to this beautiful baby boy.



Mother and baby are well and are catching up on some rest at the hospital. I am at home now. I just showed Robby some pictures of his little brother, then put him down to bed. Mary's mother and I are headed back to the hospital now.

This will be one Mother's Day I will never forget.
