I should be sleeping right now. Every other night I seem to get no sleep. It is usually my fault though. Three nights ago, I stayed up way to late installing Exchange Server 2003 for a development project I am doing research for. Last night I was up way too late watching tv and surfing. I already know that I won't be sleeping much because Ben is sleeping by our bed, so you would think that I would be smart ebough to go to bed at a reasonable time. Nope.
This morning I sat with Benjamin in bed while Mary took a shower. He seemed very aware. His eyes were open, and he was looking around. I started to read to him from the Best Man's Handbook (Bob's wedding is in just over a month) and he seemed to really listen. Hard to believe he was still in Mary's belly one week ago.
A few days ago Robby discovered the excitement of his new favorite toy - a flashlight. It is too funny. His Grandpa gave me this flashlight for Christmas several years ago before Robby was born. We took it out of the closet a few days ago, to see if it used C-size batteries which we might be able to steal and use in Ben's new bassinet. Since Robby got a hold of it, he has had a ball just pointing it here there and everywhere.
